Emergency Appeal For Bangladesh Flood Victims

Heavy Monsoon Downpours which began on Friday 17/06 in the Northeast states of Bangladesh has had a devastating effect on the people of the area; 2 million have had to evacuate from their homes and have lost everything. Hundreds have lost their lives and were swept away by the fast-flowing waters. The flood situation is likely to deteriorate and leave more hunger and hardship in its wake.

Deen Relief has staff on the ground in the worst hit areas of Sunamgani and Sylhet who see first- hand the dire situation and are aware of the needs of the people. More and more every day are stranded and are struggling to survive against the powerfulness of nature.
