Access to clean water has been a major issue in Bangladesh and in many other parts of the world. The Water Aid Project hopes to raise funds to build tube-wells in various areas of Bangladesh. Each well goes 460ft deep underground bypassing the lead-fill layer so that clean water can be pumped out. Each well costs around £500 pounds to build and can provide water for over 30 families (about an entire street in a village) throughout the day. Thousands of lives have been taken due to lead-poisoning and many other health conditions associated with drinking unclean water. Many lives are Still at risk. When you fill your next glass up to drink, don’t forget to reflect on this blessing that we overlook every day. We hope that you will be able to take help us create a lasting impact by donating towards building a well to provide for those suffering in Bangladesh. There are too many lives at risk, and they are counting on us.
